Shipping Fees & Facts

Ground Shipping is our standard method of shipping.  Shipping starts at $17.00 and goes up based on quantity ordered.  Upgraded shipping is available for additional charge. 

International shipping will be completed via International Economy.  Shipping starts at $65.00 and goes up based on quantity ordered.  Please be aware that duties and taxes have not been applied to the total due at checkout.  You will be responsible for the additional fees at time of delivery. 

If a package is returned to Sir Alistair Rai due to non payment of taxes and duties, please be advised that whatever amount is billed to us, it will be charged to the credit card that was used for the original purchase. 

United States Postal Service will be used for all Overseas Military and will be charged standard domestic shipping rates. 

Online Store Policy

Occasionally items may be out of stock.  We make every attempt to contact our customer in the event of out of stock or sold out merchandise.  If you would like an order partially shipped, additional shipping charges will apply. 

Pre-Orders

Please note that the delivery date is an estimated shipping date.  We are unable to guarantee delivery dates for preorder items due to unforeseen delays in production.  We are a Fair Trade Company, which means we promote fair wages and safe working environments. This in turn can slow production but it allows our Artisans a better living wage for themselves and a better life for their families.

Store Credit

To use a store credit, simply place a new order and in the Special Request field, please type “Apply Store Credit” and the total amount of your order will be adjusted accordingly based on available credit.

Cancellations 

Please be advised that once an order has been placed, we are unable to make any changes to the order including cancellation.

ALL SALE ITEMS ARE FINAL SALE.  NO EXCEPTIONS, NO STORE CREDITS.

Returns and Exchanges

All Sale Items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.  All returned items will be given an internet store credit only, no exceptions.

Sir Alistair Rai prides itself in the highest quality merchandise possible.  Our scarves are all handmade in India.  Please note each piece is unique and the color may vary.  Returns or exchanges will not be accepted on any scarf.

 If for some reason you aren’t satisfied with your clothing purchase, please return your unused and unworn item in its original condition within 7 days and we will provide you with an online store credit (valid for 6 months) or exchange (less shipping costs).  Please do not return any sale merchandise as you will not be given store credit. 

A shipping charge of $7.00 will be charged for all exchanges.

For items received past the 7 days there will be a 20% restocking fee.  Please note returns for different sizes/colors etc. the purchaser is responsible for shipping charges.  Items purchased on our website may not be returned to any of the boutiques that carry our line.  We also do not take returns on items that were purchased in a boutique that carries our line. 

Please note refunds are not allowed. 

All items are inspected before shipping but if something is being returned due to quality issues, it must be returned in original packaging with the original invoice.  Sir Alistair Rai will not accept an item returned with obvious signs of wear or with any original tags removed.  Please call to receive your return number prior to shipping item back. 

We recommend that you insure your return and get proof of delivery in case your package is lost in transit.  We will not be responsible for a return that never reaches our location.

Please call 480-813-2168 and ask for Retail Customer Service.  You will receive a return number that needs to be included on the outside of your package.

TERMS OF USE

Minors and Family Members

Sir Alistair Rai does not knowingly market to or knowingly solicit information from minors.  Minors are ineligible to use our services, and we do not want minors to submit any personal information to us.  If you are a minor, you can use this service only under the supervision of your parents or guardians.  If a minor makes a purchase with their parent’s credit card without authorization, Sir Alistair Rai will not be responsible for any refunds or returns.  The cardholder will have to dispute the charge with their credit card company or with the family member who placed the order, and take any necessary precautions so that this will not happen. 

There are no exceptions.
